Hot rolled plate or HR Plate is manufactured in a wide range of sizes for applications varying from construction, pressure vessel and wear-resistant applications. HR steel that has been roll-pressed at very high temperatures of over 1700℉ or 920℃ is used to manufacture HR Plates and sheets. High temperature makes the steel easier to form and resulting in products that are easier to work with.
Our provided HR Plates and sheets are widely used for welding and construction of railroad tracks and I-Beams. Each plate is treated through a hot rolling process at a high temperature.
