QATAR L ANGLE (WALL FRAME SOLUTION)

Qatar Steel Industries Factory’s L-shaped steel angles are used in repairs or fabrication and as structural elements. It is a product that has two legs that forms a 90 degree angle and is also the most commonly used shape. An Angle is measured first by the lengths of the legs and then their thickness.

The most basic type of roll formed steel are steel angles. They are created by bending a single angle in a piece of steel. Angle Steel is ‘L’ shaped; they are at a 90 degrees angle and are the most common type of Steel Angle. The legs of the “L” can be equal or unequal in length. Steel angles are used for a range of purposes in a number of industries such as:

• Framing and creating framing systems.
• Used for reinforcement, brackets and trims. The larger the steel angle, the more weight and stress it can bear.
• Safety cages, farming equipment, walkways, trailer manufacturing and anywhere where it is important to improve the structure’s stability.

The other type of angle popularly used is the Iron Angle which are normally formed into an L-shape (always 90 degrees) are often used to

• Frame or build walls, shelves, furniture and supporting structures.
• Create furniture namely chairs, beds and tables that is iron angles are used to create the basic structure of the piece and other materials are used to finish it. This combination provides durability, strength and stability to withstand any type of use.
• Containers, walls and shelves, angles that help to stabilize the entire structure. The structure will not bow, bend or break and is reinforced. It is easy to work with and can be bolted or welded together to create more stability.

The type of project it is suited for determines the thickness of the angles. Smaller pieces are used for jobs where the amount of pressure and weight will be minimal, while larger thicker pieces are utilized on walls and supporting beams of buildings that must constantly bear live and dead weight.

At Qatar Steel Industries Factory these angles come with the following specifications:

• Dimensions: 25×25 to 70×70 mm.
• Thickness: Standard of 0.35×1 mm.
